Sister School Cases

Below are two examples of Y&Z's International Sister School Programs currently operating in China.

Hainan Overseas Chinese School: Y&Z International Program
Founded in 1938, Hainan Overseas Chinese School is regarded as the best high school in Hainan Province and one of the best in the nation. It has been rewarded province-level and national rewards and prizes more than 800 times. There are over 11, 000 students and 600 teachers in Hainan Overseas. And 81% of the teachers have a professional post title.

In 2010, under the supervision and with the full support of Y&Z, Hainan Overseas started its International Sister School Program with Thomas Jefferson High School (TJ) from Dallas TX. It is the first international program proved by National Education Agency of China. Through the international program in Hainan Overseas, students from Thomas Jefferson are able to study Chinese in TJ and be sent to Hainan to continue their studies with full scholarships awarded by Y&Z, and enter Chinese universities in the future.

Nanyang NO.1 High School: Y&Z International Program
Originally founded in 1903, Nanyang NO.1 High School is a provincial model high school with a long history and a good reputation. It has more than 4300 students and a staff of 320. In 1959, the school was identified as the provincial key high school. In 1978, it was again identified as the provincial key high school in Nanyang City, the only provincial key high school.

In 2010, under the supervision and with the full support of Y&Z Nanyang NO.1 High School started its International Sister School Program with Thomas Jefferson High School (Dallas TX). It is proved by Henan Education Agency. Through the international program in Nanyang NO.1 High School, students from Thomas Jefferson are able to study Chinese in TJ and be sent to Nanyang to continue their studies with full scholarships awarded by Y&Z, and enter Chinese universities in the future.
